QA
Quality is our top priority — in everything we do. We have nine different types of testing services to make sure everything launches successfully and is maintained over time.
Quality is What Matters
Quality Assurance is not just Quality Control. Make sure it's good from start to finish, in every area, not just one point of time. We help with speed, functionality, design, layout, devices, localization, usability, compliance, and security assessments.
Unit Testing
Unit testing is thoroughly testing the base components that make up an individual feature or function in a website or application. This process is essential for verification of not just the sum, but also the parts in test-driven development.
Functional & Regression Testing
Functional testing ensures that all site areas are functional to specifications, are objectively good, and don't break other areas of the site. This forms the baseline for regression testing.
Performance Testing
Performance testing is all about the speed and performance under load of a site or application. Using some special software, we can see how each function operates and dramatically reduce load times. Moreover, we can detect issues before they are catastrophic.
Security & Penetration Testing
A penetration test is a simulated hacking attack on an application or infrastructure that looks for security weaknesses, potentially gaining access to the system's features and data. We do this to verify server security and integrity.
Localization Testing
Localization testing is utilized when working with multi-language or multi-regional digital products. They verify that all screens work in all possible combinations and that the translations are correct.
Usability Testing
Usability Testing is design and layout verification that the application or site is both usable and intuitive to your audience. We work with your users either in person or remotely to test actual user experience with your application.
Device & Browser-Compatibility Testing
This testing covers cross platforms, browsers and device compatibility, rendering visually and functionally to meet the acceptance criteria. The best approach is to determine what your target audience uses, and define the devices from there. If zero percent of your users utilize tablet size devices, there is no point on testing those devices.
Compliance Testing
The verification process tests and scans to assess and recommend fixes to comply with ADA, HiPAA and PCI compliance requirements where they are relevant.
Automation Testing
Automatic testing is like a superpower — we can record scripts of specific tests and have them run on a regular schedule or after any server / content change. This detect problems in large applications well before a person could catch them.
SEO Testing
We use a variety of scanning utilities to test and validate a site or web application for adherence to SEO best practices — these include both at the technical and content level.
AccessiBe ADA Compliance
GRAYBOX and accessiBe offers a turn-key solution that automatically makes websites ADA and WCAG 2.1 compliant on an ongoing basis, along with a statement of performance.
