Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) and Wikimedia Canada collaborate to upload to the library Wikimedia Commons part of archives preserved in any of the ten conservation centers BAnQ Quebec. The projects are led by passionate and archivists who have at heart the dissemination of Quebec's heritage.

Currently, two of Quebec upload archive projects are underway. Since 2014, the team at BAnQ Old Montreal uploads Conrad Poirier part of the funds, more than 1700 files in the Montreal area. The second project, conducted since late 2015, the team at BAnQ Gatineau uploads Commons in almost 200 files from the Champlain Marcil funds, mainly pictures of the religious heritage of the Outaouais region of Quebec as qu'ontarien side.

Like several other partnerships between Wikimedia and GLAM institutions worldwide, the objective of this collaboration is to give the community the opportunity to place wikimédienne in Wikipedia articles images iconographic collections of Quebec and more largely of French America.
